Best Programs

There are only a couple of programs everyone must have and some few others I think that should be better to install. Thrust me and you'll not be disappointed.

For Internet:

GetRight

Fully automate your ftp/http downloads. Keep trying if busy, can disconnect at end, simultaneous downloads, fully customizable, very easy to use, drag & drop (no, I do not get a % on the sales, simply it's great.)

ICQ

I do not love to chat while I'm browsing, but someone do. This is the best chat program around. Fully customizable, keep a list of friends, calls you when someone is on-line, allow to send e-mail-like messages without having e-mail, really easy to use.

For your Desktop

Zip Magic

The real MUST-HAVE. Allow you to browse in your zips like you do with folders and LAUNCH PROGRAMS WITHOUT DECOMPRESS THEM. No temp files, it's DIRECT ACCESS to zips, with shell extensions. You notice the difference between a folder and a zip only from the icon. GREAT!!!

VirtualCD

This program contain the BEST ever thought idea since the invention of the CD. You can build up a virtual CD compressing an entire CD on your HD. Your games and animations will never go faster. Because it was a good idea, obviously, the program is discontinued so you'll not be able to buy it. Hitting here will show you an up-to-date list of ftp hosting the latest version (vcd10l.exe), while this perhaps will help you with the time limit.

Winamp or Macamp

Look at the mp3 section. You should really learn something about mp3 if you do not know what it is.
